Family Fund Trust

Modest grants can be made towards transport costs such as fares or car expenses, ie, petrol, running costs, major repairs, where a child gets only the lower rate mobility component or none at all of the Disability Living Allowance. Contact:

3) Money Matters:
The Family Fund Trust is an independent organisation whose purpose is to ease the stress of families who care for severely disabled children under 16, by providing grants and information related to the care of the child.
The Trust is funded by the national governments in
Laundry equipment, if the disability creates extra washing
Family holidays in this country or outings to relieve stress
Bedding and Clothing, if the child’s disability causes extra wear and tear
Driving lessons if the parent, who is the main carer of the child, has a car available
Also willing to consider helping in other ways which relate to the care of the child
How to apply: Applications should give your child’s full name, address, date of birth, brief details of his/her disability and the kind of help you need. Applications are considered at any time. If, when they receive a new application, it seems likely that they could help, they will ask one of their Family Fund Visitors to contact you to arrange a convenient time to disscuss the application and meet your child.
