BREAK

BREAK provides holidays, short-breaks and respite care for children and adults with disabilities (learning or physical) at fully accessible centres in Norfolk.  Full 24hr care is provided plus a holiday programme combining outings, activities and entertainment.  Facilities include indoor heated swimming pool, sensory room and specialised play equipment.  A wheelchair-friendly holiday chalet is also available in Devon for families with special  needs.  Details of fees - which are subsidised by BREAK (a registered charity) - available on request.

Family Holiday Association

The Family Holiday Association is a UK charity helping to provide access to holidays for families in need.  Families must be on a low income, have at least one child aged 3 or over and not have had a holiday for 4 years.  Application forms are available from the website and by mail and are ONLY accepted from referring agencies (social workers, health visitors, etc).

Liberty Child

Liberty Child provides holidays for children with physical and learning disabilities from the Southampton and Hampshire area

Staffed entirely by volunteers, Liberty Child pays all the costs of the holiday from funds raised. Since 2001, thanks to the amazing generosity of our benefactors and volunteers Liberty Child has been able to take 70 very special children on holiday.

These holidays often provide the children with their first taste of independence and gives the parents a very important and much needed break, confident that their children are well looked after and in a safe environment.

Vitalise

Specialises in holiday care for physically disabled adults, with places for children over 6 and under 18 at our Centre in Bodmin.  Other disabilities may be accepted on assessment.  There are 5 national centres in Chigwell, Southampton, Nottingham, Southport and Bodmin.
